The IETM Campus is a week of intensive training in all aspects of international co-productions. The 5th edition of the IETM Campus offers the opportunity to a group of 25 emerging art professionals to internationalize their careers under the supervision and guidance of renowned and experienced mentors from the international field of performing arts. This is a training programme developed by the International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts (IETM). It takes place once a year, in a different country, and this is the first time that is organized in Greece. The mentors, of this year’s edition, are Mike van Graan (South Africa), Judith Knight (United Kingdom), Gundega Laivina (Latvia), Ása Richardsdóttir (Iceland) and Nan van Houte (Netherlands). Experienced mentors share their knowledge of international co-operation in fields such as intercultural communication, negotiation, funding and programming, and dealing with censorship, the press and the public. Mentors and participants acquire personal contact, draw and share examples from their experience and their different work and creation frameworks, and in this way feedback the overall discussion and at the same time their individual professional practices.
