IETM Campus Eleusis 2019

The fifth edition of IETM Campus, organised in partnership with Eleusis 2021 European Capital of Culture, will be a week of intensive training in all aspects of international co-production. It is a great opportunity for a group of 20-25 participants to start internationalising their careers guided by the key players in the international performing arts field.

A group of experienced tutors will share their knowledge on various topics of international working: from intercultural communication, negotiating, funding and planning, to dealing with censorship, press, and the public. Thanks to a limited number of places, participants will receive personal attention to their specific situations.

ΙΕΤΜ (International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts) is the largest international network for contemporary performing arts; a network of over 450 performing arts organisations and individual members working in the contemporary performing arts worldwide: theatre, dance, circus, interdisciplinary live art forms, new media, etc.IETM advocates for the value of the arts and culture in a highly changing world and empowers performing arts professionals through access to international connections, knowledge and a dynamic forum for exchanging knowledge and experience. Its activities include organising networking and exchanging meetings, as well as facilitating communication and distribution of information between artists and professionals on modern developments at international level.

Eleusis 2021 as IETM member is actively involved within the network, while fostering the access and cooperation of Greek artists and professionals with the network. IETM constitutes one of our strategic partners in our attempt to get to know modern Europe and the current European concerns.

Eleusis 2021 will offer five scholarships for the IETM Campus to professional of the performing arts field that are active in the city of Eleusis and the broader area, after the applications’ evaluation.

Who can participate?

Profile of participants: performing arts professionals with at least two years of professional experience in the contemporary arts field, taking their first steps in the world of international exchange. They can be freelancers,  working for an organisation that is starting to work internationally or working in an organisation aiming to enhance their practice.

Attendance to the Campus is by application only and IETM members have priority access.

The applications’ evaluation will be held by the IETM Network.
